Guarden Gnomes

For my ILL 3 class we had to create these icon/dingbat/spot illustrations, whatever you wanna call 'em in Illustrator!  They had to combine two things to create a theme, or in my case, a pun!  Little Guard-en Gnomes! haha!  I had a lot of fun doing these!  I did two versions, as you can see -- not sure which I like better.  The assignment isn't due until Thursday, so if you have any suggestions for improvement let me know!
